Blue Cove Ventures was formally welcomed into the Australian Private Equity & Venture Capital Association Limited (AVCAL) today.

AVCAL is the Australian association that represents the venture capital industry's participants, promotes the industry and encourages investment in growing business enterprises.

Membership comprises venture capital firms, institutional investors, banks, incubators, angels, corporate advisors, accountants, lawyers, government bodies, academic institutions and other service providers to the industry.

AVCAL's venture capital members represent most of the active venture capital firms. These firms provide capital for seed and pre-seed ventures, early stage companies, later stage expansion, and finance for management buyouts and buy-ins of established companies. There are almost 60 investor members with A$10 billion invested or available for investment.
